Webinar: Supply Chain Disruptions

Webinar

If you are a regular reader of this website, you will be aware of the massive disruptions that the agricultural sector is facing in the input supply chain.

In recent months, we have seen the fertiliser and glyphosate pricing flying through the roof. The cost of freight has become frightening. Getting machinery parts is a struggle, with difficulty in transport.

It’s all really a bit of a comedy of errors.

We have teamed up with the Victorian Farmers Federation to provide an update on what is actually happening with these supply chain disruptions.

I will be talking about what is happening in the fertiliser industry, along with two further speakers who will be covering freight and machinery parts:

  • Neil Chambers – Container Transport Alliance Australia
  • Pete McCann – Case IH

There will also be a question and answer session, so it is a great opportunity to ask questions of the presenters.

It’s free to register, and even if you can’t make it on the day, I am sure VFF can send those who register a copy.

Whilst it is organised by the VFF, it is available to anyone who has an interest in the current supply chain disruptions.

The webinar will be held next Tuesday from 7.30 to 8.30 pm. A great time to unwind with a beer/wine/tea and listen to my dulcet tones. See you next Tuesday.
