Mutton prices in South Australia lifted nearly 50c last week closing at 622c/kg cwt on Friday and sheep throughout figures for the week show some good volumes presented, well above normal weekly levels.

Sheep yarding levels in South Australia lifted 159% on the week prior to hit 14,773 head. This is the highest weekly yarding of sheep in SA since 2009 and significantly above the normal range that you would expect to see presented.
