Victorian Growers: Come along to a market update.

Find out what is happening in the market.
The black swan event is no longer unusual. Since the dawn of time, agricultural markets have been volatile, and this has only increased in recent years. Farmers have to contend with the weather, but at the same time, we are also seeing increased pressure on markets from drivers, which would traditionally be rare.
We have invasions of Ukraine, tariffs and export bans from India, China, USA and others. You’ve read about it on here, but come along and listen to my dulcet Scottish tones in person.
In my short presentation, I will run through some of the big opportunities and risks in the grain market. We can’t always manage the risks, but being aware of the risks will help us all make better decisions.
Two GRDC National Grower Network Forums will be held in Warracknabeal and Horsham on the 3rd and 4th of April. In these sessions GRDC will highlight their local investments, and I will give a talk on markets. These events are free to attend.
We thank GRDC for funding EP3 to come to these events, as it allows us to continue operating the EP3 business and providing market intelligence to the industry, without this kind of support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. If you are an organisation looking for information, get in touch, we can present to your staff, your clients or for your conferences. Reach out to us by clicking here
