• Total Australian beef exports have lifted 12% from the month prior to see 81,314 tonnes shipped for October.
• Despite the improved volumes total beef exports are sitting 14% under the five-year trend for October, reflecting the tight season and subdued demand from key export markets.
• Three out of four top beef export destinations for Australia remain below their respective five-year trend (Japan, USA and China) but South Korea have crept marginally above after posting a 29% lift in volumes from September to October.
